THEY are better known for making mobile phones but SAGEM's electronics arm have created a 'gem' (geddit!) in this internet radio.
The gadget gives you access to more than 7,000 stations when it connects up to your broadband using WiFi.
That means you can listen to talk from Taiwan, soul from Sudan and rock from Rome, and everything in between.
Called the MYDU@L RADIO700, you don't need to hook it up to a PC to make it work, the wireless simply locks onto the broadband and streams sound to the gizmo.
It also has an alarm clock, supports MP3s, has a normal FM radio and has a USB port for plugging in a dongle filled with digital tunes.
Crucially, the price is right too because internet radios are still yet to break the mainstream. It costs just £79.99 from bigboxshop.co.uk, which is £20 off the recommended retail price.
It looks pretty neat too and is small enough to sit on the shelf in the kitchen or bedroom and because it all operates wirelessly, you can place it anywhere around the house and still get a decent reception!
